How our LPR works

Licence plate scan at the entrance & exit

As the vehicle approaches, the number plate is scanned between 50 and 200 times, starting at a distance of 40 metres. Within milliseconds, the system determines the licence plate number from these scans.

Single misreadings due to reflections, shadows, obscurations or unfavourable angles do not play a role.

Direction & country detection

Thanks to the quick licence plate scans, our system can track the car in the images and pinpoint its direction of travel.

Our licence plate recognition (LPR) software identifies the country code of all European plates (both EU and non-EU), making it a perfect fit for car parks with international traffic and customers.
